• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.

• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner, while maintaining professionalism.

• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.

• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.

• Assist with access control procedures, visitor management, and screening processes as required by site policies.

• Work closely with healthcare staff and visitors to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.

• Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

• An armed guard card or license is required.

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as per client requirements.

• A minimum of six months of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
