As a Security Guard – Armed Hospital Patrol in Denmark, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout a healthcare location. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while responding to incidents as needed.

Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within the healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies if needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Document observations and incidents clearly and promptly, following Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with medical staff and visitors to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
Support emergency response activities and assist with evacuation procedures as directed by site leadership.
Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
Have at least 6 months of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
