As an Unarmed Security Officer in a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and report events according to site procedures.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, offices, common areas, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

+ Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when required, and assist with directing guests, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site policies.

+ Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift records, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
