Field Welder

Key Responsibilities

• Field welding, repair, and maintenance equipment on industrial job sites
• Comply with all Tate Metalworks and customer safety programs

Employee Requirements & Qualifications

• Pass an open butt, (FCAW) flux core arc welding plate test, (3) positions: vertical, horizontal, overhead
• Field Construction Welding
  
  Experience:
  
  FCAW
• Tank building field experienced preferred
• Ability to work overnight, weekends, and travel as required
• Candidates must pass pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions and temperatures
• Climb ladders, work at heights, and enter confined spaces
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Stand, walk, kneel, bend for extended periods

Work Environment

• Industrial construction sites, refineries, terminals, manufacturing facilities, and tank farms
• Exposure to changing environmental conditions

Pay and Benefits

• 5-7 days per diem
