Location & Camp Overview

Located on 1400 acres atop the Blue Ridge Mountains, Camp Greenville offers some of the most beautiful views in the country. The camp, established in 1912, hosts boys and girls from across the region and the world in summer, retreat, and specialty programs. The summer experience highlights the great outdoors of Western North Carolina and South Carolina.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the liaison between camp administration, the camp nurse manager, and the volunteer Health Care Team (nurses and EMTs).
  • Assist with coordinating medication administration (dispensing of medication not allowed), paperwork, and forms.
  • Collaborate for efficient processes and clear communication among all.
  • Ability to work with participants of all backgrounds.
  • Serve as a role model, upholding our camp values, and working with integrity, creativity, and safety in mind always.
  • Responsible for the health and well‑being of the campers mentally, emotionally, and physically during their time at camp.
  • Approach responsibilities in a fun, creative, enthusiastic, and professional manner.
Other Responsibilities
  • Adhere to policies related to boundaries with consumers.
  • Attend/complete required abuse risk management training.
  • Adhere to procedures related to managing high‑risk activities and supervising consumers.
  • Follow mandated reporting requirements.
  • Adhere to job‑specific abuse risk management responsibilities.
  • Must be 20 years old by June 2026.
  • Ability to pass Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
  • Must be CPR/First aid certified or able to obtain by June 2026.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Student in nursing or health care related field.
