Work as a Warehouse Associate at the Market Unit Distribution Center, responsible for order fulfillment and all functional areas of distribution operations and warehousing. This includes receiving; put‑away; replenishment; customer order fulfillment; dock activity – shipping; inventory cycle counting; sanitation and maintenance, with daily assignments to support these activities and other duties as directed by supervisory staff.
Responsibilities- Accurately pick, sort, put away, and stage customer orders according to product code, lot number, and quantity requested.
- Inspect truck/container for temperature and cleanliness, reporting any abnormality to management.
- Organize the dock and prepare for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Notate and report any discrepancies and/or damages to the Supervisor per the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Check picked orders for accuracy of lot numbers, quantities, and document completion.
- Accurately pack customer orders in compliance with instructions on the order form or as provided by the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- Pack completed orders to protect the product from loss or damage.
- Process parcel shipments using the provided Ship Station Meters; palletize metered packages for transfer to the appropriate carrier and mode of shipping (ground or air).
- For less‑than‑truck‑load (LTL) palletized shipments, scan, palletize cases, weigh, and stretch‑wrap truck orders.
- Create, check, or print Bill of Lading (BOL), packing slips, and accurately stage for shipping or receiving as required.
- Confirm and compare all identifying information and counts items to verify information against BOL, packing lists, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Verify and file records of all receiving and shipping documentation at the time of delivery and receipt.
- Input receipts into SAP, utilizing both radio frequency (RF) scanning devices and desktop or laptop terminals.
- Loading and unloading of trucks as assigned.
