Location: Saint George

The Warehouse Specialist ensures a safe, productive warehouse environment during their shift. They work with a team of warehouse associates and complete functions such as ensuring areas of the warehouse are clean and keeping track of inventory.

Essential duties and responsibilities
  • Receives inbound material from vendors, customers (RMA), or intercompany warehouses accurately and promptly, per company processes and procedures.
  • Examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items while reporting/recording any discrepancies.
  • Generate and process RMA orders in ERP system to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Prepare Customs documentation for export shipments, when required.
  • To accurately place materials on shelves, in racks or other designated storage areas in an orderly manner, ensuring transaction accuracy.
  • Pick and pack orders to be shipped to customers while identifying packaging requirements, including preparation of all required shipping documentation.
  • Proactively identify and address maintenance issues of warehouse and equipment.
  • Safely operate all the necessary equipment in work area.
  • Communicate with various personnel, departments, vendors and others to provide and receive information, resolve questions and issues, and coordinate activities.
  • Identify and count stock materials as listed, as participate in ongoing cycle counting efforts.
  • Pick up and deliver materials, to/from company facilities, utilizing company vehicles as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Be able to understand drawings to aid in product identification, when required.
  • Must have, or ability to obtain lift equipment license.
  • Ability to understand and execute documented processes/instructions.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations, including lean and 5S concepts.
  • Operate inventory control equipment, i.e., bar-coding equipment, handheld devices.
  • High school diploma.
  • 3 years’ experience in warehouse and distribution operations.
