Warehouse Supervisor

The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the shipping/receiving activities of the Warehouse. The Warehouse Supervisor for keeping the shift staffed and disciplined at a level where the work will be completed in an efficient manner. Ensure Warehouse operations are in accordance with established procedures and policies

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee personnel in Receiving, Shipping, Inventory, and Recycle operations
• Foster a safety culture that creates a work environment where no one gets hurt
• Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices
• Assists in developing solutions to specific problems through continual process improvements
• Strong leadership and communication skills, proficient at conflict resolution
• Facilitate cross department requirements and support through direct leadership trait
• Facilitate all warehouse operations including unloading trailers and setting appointments
• Conduct cycle counts and perform inventory reconciliations
• Maintain raw produce/finished goods and packaging stockrooms
• Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) scan guns and tools to maintain proper inventory levels and proper location of goods in the warehouse
• Ensure warehouse, docks, and yard are left in good operational conditions daily
• Develop, train, and mentor associates
• Maintain and update warehouse KPIs for responsible shift
• Flexibility to work all shifts and days needed to satisfy company needs
• Complete additional tasks/duties as needed or directed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 2+ years of related experience in lieu of degree
• 1+ years of leading or supervisory experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of warehouse operations
• Superior organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
• Strong oral/written communications; computer skills in MS Office applications
• Operate standup forklift
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly
• Willing to work any shift, weekends, and some holidays
• Able to work in a cold and wet environment (33 °F)
