Physician - Anesthesiology - Thomas Hospitals; SMG

Overview

West Virginia University Health System (SMG) seeks an Anesthesiologist. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in South Charleston, WV and Charleston, WV.

WVU Health System, the state's largest health system and largest private employer, comprises 18 hospitals, five institutes, and management services for other local hospitals through affiliate agreements. It operates multiple facilities across West Virginia and the surrounding region.

Provide anesthesiology clinical care in assigned locations in South Charleston and Charleston, WV. Participate in perioperative evaluation, planning, and anesthesia administration in collaboration with surgical and perioperative teams. Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality of care in all cases.

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and eligibility for state medical license.
• Completion of an Anesthesiology residency program.
• Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
