Surgical Pathologists, Thomas Memorial Hospital

WVU Medicine, WVUHS Medical Group is actively recruiting three Surgical Pathologists to provide professional pathology services at Thomas Memorial Hospital, a member of the WVU Health System located in South Charleston, WV.

Duties:
The successful candidates will provide day-to-day anatomic (AP) sign-out and clinical (CP) services at Thomas Memorial Hospital. One of these positions have additional responsibilities as the CLIA Laboratory Director at Thomas Memorial Hospital and at Saint Francis Hospital and as such, is responsible for providing regulatory oversight and maintaining the quality of pathology and laboratory services at these facilities.

Qualifications:
Successful candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain a state medical license. Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic/Clinical Pathology. Training and experience providing surgical pathology (including frozen section intraoperative consultations) and other laboratory professional services are required.
