Provide specialized care to specific patient populations to optimize care and experience. Serve as a liaison among providers, departments, and scheduling teams to coordinate testing, referrals and other care activities.

• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which services will be provided, or a current multi‑state RN license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• State criminal background check and Federal clearance as required.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.

• Two (2) years’ experience as an RN, or five (5) years’ experience as an LPN.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Certification relevant to specialized cardiac care.

• Provide hands‑on assistance with procedures, tests, medication administration, and specimen collection.
• Act as first contact for patients, triaging and providing medical advice when appropriate.
• Coordinate the plan of care and liaise between providers, departments and other healthcare professionals to schedule testing, referrals and other services.
• Monitor and manage patient appointments, testing and laboratory orders.
• Assist with prior‑authorizations for patient care services.
• Prepare and deliver educational material; counsel patients on medical conditions, medications and treatment plans.
• Assist with research efforts and provide specialized nursing assistance when applicable.
• Provide education and consultation to nursing staff on the patient population served.
• Attend conferences and educational opportunities to stay current with best practices.

• Frequent lifting, moving, stooping, reaching, and standing; ability to lift and handle patients or equipment weighing 35+ lbs.

• Exposure to blood and bodily fluids; possible contact with harmful toxins.
• Exposure to communicable diseases; occasional travel to multiple locations.
