Area Sales Manager
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for generating revenue and executing our sales methods in their designated geographical area. The role involves presenting products to potential clients, identifying target consumers, and positioning offerings to maximize sales. Ultimately, you will help grow our customer base and establish our reputation in the assigned region.
Responsibilities- Meet or exceed quota for the specific territory.
- Generate leads by cold calling in person and on the phone.
- Answer customer questions about features, pricing, and additional services.
- Attend conventions and represent Alma Lasers.
- Move customers through the sales cycle and close emotional sales opportunities.
- Perform product demos and develop relationships with dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and private practice physicians.
- Collaborate with sales representatives across territories to share best practices and support a cohesive sales approach.
- Provide timely reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually) to the Regional Sales Director regarding the status of each lead and sales opportunity in the pipeline through the CRM database.
- Assist in closing deals with Territory Sales Managers and mentor them as needed.
- Carry a quota in the seven‑figure range and close deals consistently.
- High school diploma or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 2 years of sales experience, preferably in medical device, capital equipment, or surgical device sales.
- Medical devices, capital equipment, surgical devices, or laser sales experience a plus.
- Positive attitude and approach to the job responsibilities and the Alma team.
- Proven sales record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Superior written and verbal communication.
- Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) proficiency.
- Salesforce experience preferred.
