Emergency Physician – Part‑time / Full‑time / Locum at Peace Arch Hospital Emergency Department, White Rock, BC.
About the HospitalPeace Arch Hospital (PAH) is a 188‑bed facility offering comprehensive medical and surgical services, including a 24/7 emergency department with after‑hours emergency surgery support.
Role OverviewWe are looking for certified Emergency Physicians to manage acute care for more than 55,000 visits yearly (projected to 70,000 by 2030). The department offers 24/7 CT, MRI, ultrasound and excellent local and regional subspecialty support.
Responsibilities- Provide emergency care to patients in a high‑volume ED.
- Collaborate with specialty and hospitalist groups.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic resources (CT, MRI, ultrasound).
- Participate in continuous improvement and department expansion projects.
- Board‑certified in Emergency Medicine (FRCPC or CCFP‑EM).
- Eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
- ACLS, ATLS, PALS certifications.
- Eligible for CPSBC full license or provisional/USA certified acceptable.
Fee‑for‑service remuneration with excellent patient flow.
Additional InformationOpportunity to work part‑time, full‑time, or as a locum. The ED has recently expanded to 55 single‑patient treatment spaces, a child and family‑friendly area, and a dedicated mental health waiting area. New technology includes a C‑arm and advanced airway equipment.
