We are seeking a passionate and dedicated educator to join our team ncis Indian School AKA Sicangu Oyate Ho Inc. in St. Francis, SD as a Kindergarten Lakota Language Teacher. As a Kindergarten Lakota Language T, you will play a vital role in fostering a love for the Lakota language and culture in our youngest students. You will be responsible for creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students can develop their language skills and cultural identity.

• Developing and implementing lesson plans that align with Lakota language curriculum
• Creating a culturally responsive and inclusive classroom environment
• Providing individualized support to students to help them progress in their language acquisition
• Collaborating with colleagues to integrate Lakota language and culture across the curriculum
• Communicating regularly with parents and families to share students' progress

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Lakota Language, or a related field
• Fluency in Lakota language
• Experience working with young children
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to promoting Lakota language and culture
