We’re seeking an experienced Project Engineering professional to join our team and drive the success of key initiatives. In this role, you’ll lead engineering activities aligned with project objectives, gather and analyze critical data, and develop progress reports and plans that keep stakeholders informed. You’ll play a vital role in monitoring timelines, identifying risks, and escalating issues when needed to ensure smooth execution and delivery.

What You Will Do
  • Create and maintain project plans for assigned projects/programs with some guidance from Sr. Engineer, Supervisor or Project Manager.
  • Track daily progress of all project tasks to ensure on time delivery to commitment.
  • Coordinate required activities with all other functional areas maintaining a single source of priorities with the other project engineers (e.g. machine shop, facilities, operations).
  • Own change management for assigned projects/programs including revising and documenting Deviations, CDRs and CRs.
  • Schedule / lead project meetings with other team members and functional areas, as needed, to provide status and align priorities.
  • Participate in Operations Tier Meetings, as needed, to communicate priorities or support required for projects.
  • Collect production readiness evidence including but not limited to SMT program status, stencils designs, tooling/fixtures documents, material complete analysis, thermal profiling, etc.
  • Submit eCARs and WBS requests for post award efforts as required.
  • Identify and resolve risks/roadblocks to minimize impact to project schedules.
  • Proactively communicate and escalate risks or support required during the project phases.
  • Identify and drive mistake proofing initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
  • Participate in Project/Program’s meetings as required.
  • Keep effective and clear communication with Programs.
  • Engage and seek approval/guidance from Producibility Engineer for deviations, CRs, CDRs and any product or process change.
  • Track project constraints (scope, time, cost, and quality) and develop plans to keep them in balance.
  • Work closely with the NPI team members and other functional areas to ensure applicable requirements are met and a smooth transition to production release.
  • Ensure safety precautions are followed on all projects and daily activities.
  • Implement and maintain 5S methodology on office areas.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Demonstrated professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish (verbal and written).

  • Knowledge/

    Experience:

    Practical knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
