Hybrid role in Monmouth County. Our client is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join their team. Be a part of a culture that promotes functional excellence and teamwork. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree and have 6 months to 2 years of experience.
Responsibilities- Perform monthly closing journal entries and other tasks related to month end.
- Maintain and reconcile fixed asset records.
- Track capital expenditure requests and spending.
- Monthly account reconciliations.
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual schedules.
- Monthly reconciliation of accounts receivable subledger to general ledger.
- General accounting knowledge.
- Ad hoc reports/duties as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 6 months to 2 years in a public or corporate accounting or finance role.
- Fixed asset accounting experience a plus.
- Intermediate MS Excel skills.
