Peaceful Pines - Fort Pierre is a senior living community that provides independent living, assisted living, and memory care services for area seniors.

As a Caregiver at our facility, you will be responsible for assisting residents with daily living tasks including eating, getting out of bed, bathing, and dressing. The ideal candidate understands that each resident has a unique story, requires patience, kindness, and empathy, and brings a big heart, upbeat attitude, and strong work ethic.

• Ensures the well-being and protection of every resident through the delivery of high-quality care.
• Promotes and supports a positive work environment focused on team building.
• Maintains confidentiality of all pertinent personal or health information concerning residents.
• Answers pendant system/call lights promptly to assist with residents.
• Assists with daily living activities that may include, but are not limited to, bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, walking, bending, kneeling, transporting, recording vital signs, and providing psycho‑social support and other personal cares.
• Documents the outcomes related to resident care, medication administration, behavior, activity, and other relevant data.
• Communicates changing health conditions, medication follow‑up, and care‑related concerns/responses to nursing leadership team.
• Prepares dining room for meals, serves meals, and cleans up dining room afterward.
• Completes light housekeeping duties as required.
• Adheres to OSHA and CDC guidelines for infection control.

Dependent, contagiously positive attitude, team player with a passion for working with seniors and/or caring for others. Must be able to pass a background check.

Sign‑on bonus: $250.

There is room for advancement, and the right candidate can be trained to become a Medication Aide.
