Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an acute care facility requiring 3+ years X-ray and 2+ years CT experience along with ARRT certification.

• Current BLS certification
• ARRT license required (license required if applicable);
  Registered in (R)(CT) preferred, but experienced CT technologists without CT registry will be considered
• Minimum 3 years of X-ray experience
• Minimum 2 years of CT experience
• Experience with GE scanners required
• EPIC/Sectra charting experience required
• Must be able to perform CTs and X-rays independently
• Must be able to handle trauma cases

• Acute care setting within the Rad/CT Tech unit
• Performs both General Radiology and CT procedures
• Uses GE Optima 64 slice CT scanner and Konica X-ray room
• Utilizes EPIC/Sectra charting system
• Night shift schedule of three 13-hour shifts Monday-Wednesday, 5:30pm-7am
• Call rotation includes one Thursday night per month and one weekend per month (occasionally two)
• Technologist works alone during shifts
• Responsible for completing paperwork and morning QA
• Will receive orientation to facility protocols, equipment, and computer systems
• Facility sees a significant volume of trauma despite being a smaller site
• Gray scrubs required
• All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• Radiology badge provided by the agency
• Candidates who previously worked at this health system must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission
