• Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot automated machinery and computer‑controlled systems, with a focus on maintaining downstream packaging equipment for optimal performance.
• Lead process improvement initiatives
• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and controls issues
• Use PLCs for ladder logic and basic programming
• Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
• Analyze test data and perform root cause analysis utilizing 5‑Y’s/problem solving, and developing training events, SOP's, and best practices
• Update and maintain mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical schematics

• Education & Experience:
• Associate’s degree in automation or related field + 3 years of experience
• OR High school diploma + 5 years of experience in automated manufacturing
• Technical
  
  Skills:
• Proficiency in reading and drawing mechanical/electrical diagrams
• Strong understanding of NFPA 70 Electrical Code
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic systems, and industrial controls
• PLC troubleshooting and ladder logic modification skills
• Bonus
  
  Skills:
• Familiarity with SPC, SQC, 5S, 8D, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, Gage R&R, DOE
