This position is located in Brandon, South Dakota

$22 - $30 per hour depending on experience

1st Shift: Monday - Thursday 5am - 3:30pm, some Friday hours may be required

Summary / Objective

This position will perform duties required to meet production demands. This will include set‑up and operating various CNC machines, laser machines, in‑process inspection, and cleaning operations required in the manufacturing of steel fabrication for vehicle products. This position will report to Operations Supervisor.

Essential Functions
  • Attend to and operate machines.
  • Clean parts, touch up parts, and may require re‑work of parts.
  • Read and interpret written instruction.
  • Complete appropriate paperwork, log sheets, forms, charts and quality assessments.
  • Communicate with and assist other co‑workers in the area.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by lead.
  • Follow all safety precautions and use protective equipment as required.
  • Measure product to production specifications.
  • Maintain and follow good housekeeping standards to meet company objectives.
  • Perform routine quality checks, both written and oral.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring.

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active – while performing this job the Team Member is regularly standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, balancing, reaching, handling, and climbing all day. The Team Member may have to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

This position requires Personal Protective Equipment.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work

This is a full‑time hourly position working a minimum of 40 hours a week. Days are Monday - Thursday 5am - 3:30pm. Friday work may be required, hours on Friday’s are 5am - 11am.
