RSD Detail Supervisor

They will manage the workflow, output, and schedule of the department. They must continuously improve production processes and team members development. The Detail Supervisor will update the production manager and other department heads of your departments progress on given project and exchange parts as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS All employees are required to support Rosenbauers Mission, Vision, and Values. The scope and duties of a given position may change or be temporarily altered based on the business needs of Rosenbauer.

Manages the workflow, output of the department, and schedule of the department.

Continuously improves production processes and team members development.

Updates the production manager and other department heads of your departments progress on given project and exchange parts as needed.

Writes performance reviews and work with HR to address worker related issues as they occur.

Inspects reviews of trucks to confirm each truck meets its specs and quality standards.

Manages inventory of tools and parts, creating POs as necessary and keep department running smoothly.

Keeps everyone safe by enforcing all employees to follow strict safety guidelines and have a clean work environment.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the organization and our members.

QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSA’s):

KKnowledge, Education, and/or

Experience:

High school diploma/GED.Extensive experience with Detail department preferred

General knowledge of Rosenbauer vehicles preferredS

Skills:

Language:

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.

Ability to use effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public

Math:

Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Computer:

Ability to learn how to run a computer terminal or PC.No prior experience required (Incumbent will look up and/or enter information into a pre-formatted screen).AAbilities:

Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.

Able to lead and supervise a team of employees effectively and with a positive attitude and affirmativeness.

Ability to identify quality issues and recognize changes within one’s production process and make the needed adjustments.

Ability to maintain detailed, accurate records.

Good organizational and interpersonal skills.

Ability to prioritize work and to multitask while adhering to deadlines.

Must be able to professionally work with customers, vendors, and external business leaders.
