Local CNA – LTC/SNF
You will be working as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a geriatric psych facility that provides care for an elderly population, including those with dementia and various behavioral health conditions. The position requires you to work 12-hour shifts, specifically from 6 AM to 6:30 PM, and you'll be expected to work every other weekend and holiday.

- Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, every other weekend and holiday
About the Unit
- Located in a facility with 55 beds
- Patient-to-CNA ratio is 2 CNAs down a hall on day and evening shifts; 1 CNA per hall on overnight shifts
- Approximately 1:23 ratio for night shifts; 1:12 for evening shifts; 1:9 for day shifts
- Electronic medical record system used: PCC
- Units serve an elder population with common diagnoses including dementia, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and paranoia
- Orientation includes training, tour, and competencies, with the opportunity to shadow 1-2 shifts
Requirements
- 1 year of experience
- BLS Certification
