- Ability to function independently in the emergency room and in Med Surg unit with up to 5 patients
- Available for every other weekend and holiday
Description:
Registered Nurse will provide care in both Med Surg and Obstetrics nursing specialties.
Duties will include performing general nursing procedures and managing patient care.
The ideal candidate will utilize computerized charting systems during patient care.
Nurses will float between Med Surg and Obstetrics as needed.
The nurse-to-patient ratio typically is 3 to 4 patients to one nurse, depending on census and acuity.
Nurses are expected to adhere to the dress code, wearing navy scrubs with no logos.
Participation in training for EPIC computer systems and specific unit orientations will be required.
Candidates must be prepared to meet call shift requirements as specified in the role.
