ResponsibilitiesThis seasonal position will assist fisheries managers and biologists with management and research activities on Missouri River reservoirs. Assist in fish spawning and stocking operations; fish population sampling using gill nets, trap nets, seines, and electrofishing; and angler use and harvest surveys. Assist with data entry and equipment maintenance.
Essential Requirements- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public
- Operation and maintenance of boats, motors, and trailers
- Basic vehicle and equipment maintenance
- Knowledge of fisheries management principles and techniques
- Fish identification
- Basic computer operation
