Prairie Sons, Inc., a family-owned plumbing company based in Brandon, SD, is seeking a Plumbing Journeyman Service Technician to join our growing team. This position focuses on residential and light commercial service work, including troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance. Located just minutes from Sioux Falls, this is an excellent opportunity for skilled tradespeople in the area looking for steady, year-round work with a respected local company.

$26–$33 per hour, depending on experience

Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Occasional on-call or overtime opportunities may be available.

• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues in residential and light commercial settings
• Install and service water heaters, fixtures, and piping systems
• Perform routine maintenance and preventive service checks
• Communicate effectively with customers and provide professional service
• Complete service documentation accurately and in a timely manner

• Valid Journeyman Plumber license (required)
• 3+ years of plumbing service experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
