Concrete Finishers

Position: Concrete Finishers (2)
Location: Sisseton

We function as a construction recruiting partner to several companies in the Midwest. We do so with Reliability, Faith, and integrity, with Faith at the center of it all.

Our partner is a small successful Concrete Construction Company in Sisseton, SD. They are a family-owned company specializing in high-quality concrete projects. They are seeking two Finishers to join the 2026 Construction Season, starting in February.

Position Overview
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience finishing concrete surfaces on residential and/or commercial projects and take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Place, level, and finish concrete using hand and power tools
• Smooth and finish surfaces using trowels, floats, screeds, and edgers
• Apply curing or sealing compounds
• Read and follow project plans and specifications
• Set forms, check grades, and ensure proper concrete thickness
• Repair surface imperfections and perform touch-ups
• Maintain a clean and safe job site
• Work closely with crew members and supervisors to meet project deadlines

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a concrete finisher (1+ years preferred)
• Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and tools
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods
• Reliable transportation to job sites
• Strong attention to detail and work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with stamped or decorative concrete
• Experience in commercial concrete projects
• Ability to read blueprints (preferred but not required)
• OSHA certification (not required)
