Salary Range: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour

Combines motor vehicle handling ability, communication skills and patient/resident handling. Patient/resident sensitivity and confidentiality are a must. The driver must understand the patient/resident’s physical and emotional status, transport safely as scheduled, maintain support equipment, keep DOT records, and communicate scheduling conflicts as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and current clean driving record per Sanford driver qualification standards.
• Must meet medical guidelines for Sanford Health Category II drivers.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; if not certified at hire, must be certified within six months.
• Training will be provided.
