  • Operating truck-mounted forklifts, boom equipment, or knuckle-boom equipment when required
  • Coordinating customer-provided offloading when applicable
  • Assessing job-site access, ground conditions, overhead power lines, and offload safety before unloading

  • Communicating delays, access issues, product concerns, and delivery issues promptly to the Logistics Supervisor
  • Maintaining CDL, DOT medical certification, and driver qualification requirements
  • Complying with company drug and alcohol testing requirements
  • Performing daily equipment checks, including fluids, tires, lights, straps, and general cleanliness
  • Reporting equipment or maintenance issues promptly
  • Supporting yard, staging, and loading work between delivery routes

  • Experience securing long, heavy, or oversized freight
  • The ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds
  • The ability and willingness to work outdoors in seasonal weather
  • The ability to pass and maintain DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements
  • Strong communication skills and a professional attitude when working with customers
Preferred Experience

Experience with the following is preferred but not required:

  • Flatbed or step-deck driving
  • Delivering trusses, wall panels, lumber, or building materials to active construction sites
  • Truck-mounted forklift or Moffett operation
  • Princeton-type forklifts
  • Knuckle-boom or crane-assisted offloading
  • Forklift or powered-industrial-truck certification
  • A clean CSA record with no preventable accidents in the last three years
Work Environment

This position involves both commercial driving and physical work at customer job sites.

Drivers should expect extended periods of driving as well as frequent climbing on and off trucks and trailers, handling straps, chains, tarps, and dunnage, and assisting with load securement and offloading.
