About Children of America (COA)

Our program serves preschool children 6 weeks – 12 years of age. Programs include Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Pre‑K, Before and After Care, and Summer Camp.

Who Will I Interact With?

This position interacts daily with the Lead Teacher, children, parents, the management team, and teaching staff.

Requirements for This Job
  • 6 months of experience in a licensed childcare setting

  • Must be First Aid/CPR trained
  • Must meet all state requirements
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
  • Directly support the Lead Teacher in delivering daily lessons
  • Show willingness to grow into a Lead Teacher role
  • Communicate appropriately and professionally with parents and staff
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Use technology to deliver child progress updates
  • Ensure a safe, structured learning environment
  • Be empathetic to children's emotions and parents' needs
  • Present expectations appropriate to the child's age
  • Be creative, passionate about your work, and have fun

Hourly pay range: $16.00 – $19.00. Final compensation decisions are based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity. This role may also be eligible for performance‑based incentives or other benefits.
