Mammography Technologist

A national medical imaging staffing organization is conducting a confidential search for a Mammography Technologist to join a welcoming outpatient imaging center in South Elgin, IL on a contract basis. This role suits a technologist who thrives in a fun, professional outpatient setting and takes pride in delivering excellent patient care and high-quality breast imaging.

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations
• Provide accurate patient positioning and high-quality images
• Follow established radiation-safety and quality-control procedures
• Maintain documentation according to facility, ACR, MQSA, and ARRT standards
• Provide a comfortable and professional experience for patients
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and the outpatient imaging team

• ARRT (M) certification required
• Current ARRT registration
• Illinois license/authorization as required
• Current BLS/CPR
• Must meet all applicable MQSA, ACR, and ARRT mammography requirements
• Mammography positioning and image-quality experience
• Strong communication and patient-care skills

• Screening and diagnostic mammography experience preferred
