Mold Maker / Mold Repair - 1st Shift (Starting Pay $29.00-$34.75 per hour)

Hoffer Plastics is hiring a Mold Maker / Mold Repair for the 1st Shift. Join an industry leader and play a key role in producing plastic components that make everyday life possible.

$29.00/hr - $34.75/hr

7:00am - 4:00pm (1st Shift)

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to plastic injection molds.
• Modify and repair molds, jigs, and fixtures where accuracy requires maintenance of extremely close tolerances.
• Diagnose problems and determine corrective actions on injection molds.
• Grind complex forms to very close tolerances.
• Complete jobs quickly and efficiently with minimal errors.
• Maintain a safe work area in a neat and orderly manner.
• Accurately document work performed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; TMA certificate preferred.
• 5+ years of experience required.
• Extensive knowledge of mold function and repair in a plastic injection environment.
• Competency calibrating tools related to the tool room.
• Ability to perform multiple functions (EDM, jig grinding, lathes, mills, grinders, etc.).
• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Hot runner function and repair knowledge a plus.
