Join Target as a specialty sales consultant and help families discover everyday joy. This role supports style, tech, and beauty retail and operates part‑time in the Inglewood, CA store.

Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $19.00 USD per hour

Target is a national retail leader that accelerates employee skill building through meaningful experiences. The Specialty Sales consultant plays a key role in welcoming guests, delivering product knowledge, and maintaining a guest‑ready floor.

The Style Consultant brings energy and passion for apparel and accessories. Responsibilities include setting and pricing the floor, supporting visual merchandising, managing inventory, and providing an exceptional guest experience.

• Drive sales & deliver a guest‑ready floor by executing visual standards, promotions, and staying knowledgeable about assortment.
• Leverage store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and support guest needs.
• Manage freight, push freight to floor, and locate merchandise in the backroom.
• Maintain product availability through priority fills, manual fills, and merchandising to capacity.
• Execute & maintain backroom organization and fulfilment.
• Remerchandise presentations and support price change processes.
• Operate fitting rooms and manage fits‑room merchandise in accordance with policies.
• Support guest services such as back‑up cashier, order pickup, drive‑up, and compliance with adult beverage laws.
• Demonstrate cultural values, safety, and ethical conduct.
• All other duties as assigned based on business needs.

• Interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Strong communication skills and ability to use handheld scanners and technology.
• Work independently and collaboratively under a fast‑moving, physical environment.
• Resolve guest questions quickly and remain focused while multitasking.
• Accurately handle cash register operations and manage ladder use.
• Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.
• Physical ability to lift up to 15 lbs routinely and 44 lbs occasionally.

• Enjoy interacting and helping guests and fellow team members.
• Capable of working a flexible schedule with varying hours, days or shifts.
• Thrives in a fast‑moving, highly active, physically demanding role.
