Qualifications- 2+ years of professional coaching or playing experience
- Experience working with youth athletes
- Background check clearance (Work‑authorized, FBI, local, and Criminal History checks)
- Completion of Area Scouts training before working with athletes

The Area Scouts team consists of sports medical professionals, Olympians, professional coaches, instructors, trainers, physical therapists, and athlete evaluators—hundreds of years of experience working together to impact youth athletes worldwide.
What We’re Looking ForWe’re expanding our team and seek sports‑experienced, self‑motivated individuals with strong character and integrity to fill roles in:
- Baseball, Basketball, Softball, Football, Volleyball, Lacrosse, and future sports
- Sports Coaches, Instructors, Trainers, Physical Therapists, Licensed Athlete Evaluators, Assistant Evaluators, Advisors, and Scouts
As an Area Scouts Evaluator you will work with youth athletes of all ages, maintain relationships with local and national sports organizations, and support athletes in your territory.
Key responsibilities include:
- Initial contact with athletes/parents upon onboarding
- Identifying athlete needs and maintaining consistent contact
- Directing athletes to the development calendar to schedule evaluations
- Conducting B.A.S.E. evaluations and subsequent assessments as required
- Providing individualized instructions or corrective measures via the platform
- Adapting schedule for business/athlete volume as needed
You will work alongside the Sports Medicine & Performance Team, Professional Sports Advisors & Directors, and the Area Scouts Operations Team.
