Logistics Coordinator

Description

Under general supervision the Logistics Coordinator creates and oversees the daily workflow, schedules, and assignments of moving crew using different computer systems. Also collects data and reports on logistic processes to reduce cost and maximize client satisfaction.

• Develops, communicates, and builds schedules for offsite facilities.
• Publishes schedules and schedule changes in a timely manner.
• Back up to Traffic Analyst at main facility (building schedules and all functions related to this task).
• Supports Moving Crew, Designers and Account Executives to ensure installation and move out deadlines are met.
• Collects and reviews data to improve scheduling and logistics processes.
• Resolve schedule conflicts with customer, designer, account executive as appropriate.
• Reviews labor scheduling/allocation to minimize cost while preserving client relations.
• Prepares reports for management to keep them informed and to help with decision making.
• Coordinates driving and trucking activities to minimize delivery costs while maintaining client relations.

Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience

• 3+ years in a logistics environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Bilingual Preferred.
