Location: South Hadley, MA
Pay: $18.50/hr.
Schedule: 8 hours weekly, 2-4 hours per shift after 3:30 PM – Weekday afternoons and/or weekends.
Key Responsibilities- Assist individuals in expanding their skills and having enjoyable experiences through community outings and activities.
- Develop a personal relationship with the individual supporting their interests, strengths and needs.
- Engage, assist, instruct, motivate and monitor individuals in social/recreational, skill building and family directed activities.
- Learn the individualized services of each person and participate in their routine implementation.
- Accompany individual to appointments, social functions, recreational activities and other planned events as requested by the supervisor, including providing transportation.
- Complete related records as required and instructed by supervisor per standard format ensuring confidentiality and safe‑keeping of documents.
- Respond and relate to routine inquiries, visitors, the Individual’s family, friends and allied staff or professionals as outlined in program standards or by the program supervisor.
- Submit weekly/bi‑weekly timesheets with summaries of activities in a timely manner.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Over 1 year of related experience preferred.
