Agency Manager – South Hill​/Mecklenburg County, VA

Full-Time | Salaried | $40,000-$45,000 per year

Ameri Care Plus is a family-owned, Virginia-based home care company that has proudly served our communities for more than 30 years. We help individuals remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes by providing dependable, non-medical in-home care.

We're looking for a motivated, business-minded Agency Manager to lead our South Hill/Mecklenburg location. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in your community while leading a team, building professional relationships, and driving the growth of a local agency.

We're seeking someone who takes initiative, leads with confidence, and understands that a successful agency doesn't just happen-it grows through purposeful marketing, strong relationships, great service, and accountability.

• Drive business growth: Develop community relationships, market our services, cultivate referral sources, and identify opportunities to grow our client base.

• Lead and develop your team: Oversee office staff and field personnel, support hiring and retention, provide training, and maintain accountability for performance.

• Manage daily operations: Oversee client admissions and discharges, caregiver scheduling, staffing coverage, payroll verification, billing, and required reporting.

• Maintain compliance and quality: Ensure agency operations meet applicable regulations, company policies, documentation standards, and audit requirements.

• Own agency performance: Partner with corporate leadership to meet budget expectations, strengthen staffing, improve operational results, and support the long-term success of the branch.

• Previous management or supervisory experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead people and manage day-to-day operations.

• A business-development mindset and the confidence to market services, build professional relationships, and generate new business.

• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• The ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards of service, compliance, and accountability.

• A valid driver's license and a positive, verifiable work history.

• Experience with Medicaid-funded home care is a plus! Familiarity with Virginia's home care regulations and Medicaid requirements is beneficial.
