Job Description:

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely posting and payment of invoices. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to kick-start their career in accounting. You will work closely with our accounting team to process invoices, reconcile vendor accounts, and assist with other tasks.

• - Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently
• - Match invoices with purchase orders
• - Verify invoice accuracy, including proper authorization and coding
• - Prepare and perform weekly check runs
• - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• - Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies
• - Assist with month-end close procedures as needed
• - Provide support to the accounting team with ad-hoc projects and tasks

• - Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• - Excellent organizational and time management skills
• - Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• - Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment
• - Prior experience in accounts payable or general accounting is a plus, but not required

This is a 100% in-office position requiring on-site attendance Monday through Friday, 8:30AM–5:30PM.
