You will serve as the main point of contact for the interior scope of the project and oversee FF&E scope from design and selection through the bid process, coordinating with specific client and project needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Create smart, on-budget design solutions that adhere to the standards of each hotel brand while meeting the client’s needs and expectations.
  • Take greater responsibility for projects than a Jr. Design Associate, while still receiving input from senior staff.
  • Collaborate with team members across the organization, providing clear direction.

  • Understand interior construction methods, procedures, building, and accessibility codes.
  • Attend weekly project conference calls with team members.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, procurement, project management, and brand representatives throughout the project.
  • Enhance organization and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs.
  • Participate in construction administration, including reviewing submittals, shop drawings, and responding to RFI’s.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Revit.
  • Skills in Sketch Up and 3-D Studio MAX are a plus.
  • Comfortable with personal responsibility, accountability, and open communication.
  • Professional poise, flexibility, and strong verbal and graphic communication skills.
