Overview

We are currently looking for the right Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our Team!

$10.00 to $14.00 per hour

We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn UP TO 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $1.84 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions. They thrive on engaging customers and assist with inquiries and problem resolution, working with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and more.

The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. The actual pay depends on factors such as location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and offer appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non-management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles cash and negotiable items per policies and regulations.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Effectively communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers; demonstrates teamwork and positive attitude.
• Partners with employees to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes assigned training successfully.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and perform duties for extended periods.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• May assist customers exterior to the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work at multiple locations as needed.
• Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literacy and ability to operate POS systems.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission, based on gross profit of personal performance. Details provided during the interview process.
