Position SummaryThe Inventory Team Member is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, supporting daily warehouse operations, and ensuring products are properly stored, labeled, and recorded. This role contributes directly to operational efficiency by assisting in inventory control, order fulfillment, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately receive, count, and record incoming products and materials.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in full inventory audits.
- Ensure inventory data is entered and maintained accurately in the inventory management system.
- Verify and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Assist with picking, packing, and preparing materials for outbound shipments when needed.
- Maintain organized storage areas and ensure items are properly labeled and accessible.
- Collaborate with Warehouse and Purchasing teams to identify low stock, damaged goods, or product variances.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean and hazard-free work area.
- Support process improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as trained and certified.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in warehouse, inventory, or logistics operations preferred.
- Basic computer literacy; familiarity with inventory management software or ERP systems a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and physical counts.
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts when required.
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, or bending in warehouse settings.
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment.
- Tolerance for temperature variations in warehouse environments.
