Tax Associate – H&R Block

Join the H&R Block team as a Tax Associate and support clients with accurate, timely tax services while growing your expertise.

• Conduct face‑to‑face and virtual tax interviews (video, phone, chat, email)
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth and client retention through additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Collaborate with the office to meet priorities

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course 1
• Fast‑paced work experience
• Comfort working with virtual tools (video, phone, chat)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must meet all IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field a plus)

• Customer service or retail background
• Experience in a fast‑paced, supportive environment
• Availability to work a minimum of 25‑35 hours weekly during tax season and up to 40 hours during peak weeks
