We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of the full accounts receivable cycle, including processing source documents, posting and reconciling payments, managing aging reports, and supporting key accounting functions. You’ll work closely with our Finance team to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all receivables and related transactions.

Responsibilities- Manage daily check deposits, including preparing physical deposits and completing corresponding cash receipts postings.
- Analyze accounts receivable aging, proactively follow up on outstanding balances, and resolve discrepancies.
- Reconcile customer accounts and ensure proper application of payments.
- Assist with and contribute to month‑end close and bank reconciliations.
- Contribute to inventory reconciliation and assist with related accounting entries.
- Develop, update, and enhance department process documentation.
- Perform a variety of accounting tasks and participate in cross‑functional projects as needed.
- 3+ years of accounts receivable or accounting experience in insurance, finance, or healthcare required.
- Strong systems aptitude and prior experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Net Suite, or similar) are required.
- Demonstrated experience in complex reconciliations, including analyzing large data sets across multiple platforms/systems, identifying variances, and resolving discrepancies with a high level of accuracy.
- Proven ability to manage high‑volume transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues independently.
- Proficiency in performing calculations, verifications, data entry, and postings.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work both autonomously and in a collaborative environment.
