HSET Coordinator – REDPATH MINING | Salt Lake City, UT | $-$ (Full‑time, Entry Level)

The HSET Coordinator maintains the administrative and support functions of the site HSET department, ensuring efficient document control, learning management, procurement, logistics, and training scheduling.

Responsibilities
  • Learning Management System
  • Maintain Training Needs Analysis
  • Update and maintain Training Matrix – communicate to stakeholders
  • Manage data input and verify accuracy of entries
  • Report generation and publication for project requirements
  • Document Development
  • Maintain and manage all documents related to the HSET department including HSET materials manuals procedures records and reports
  • Update of training material to support Technical Instructors. Assist in the preparation and formatting of documents presentations and reports
  • Development of administrative documents and reports
  • Document Control & Open File Management
  • Ensure that all documents are properly filed categorized and stored in both physical and digital formats
  • Coordinate the distribution and retrieval of documents as needed by the HSET team and other departments
  • Manage the approval and justification process for HSET material updates
  • Manage live documents including risk assessments
  • Follow the Redpath document control process onsite
  • Manage version control of SWPs, lesson plans, technical presentations, theory and practical assessment booklets. Regularly update and revise training materials and documents to reflect changes in industry standards regulations and company policies
  • Manage open training files in paper form until complete, then digitize and file
  • Scan, file and manage all documents on Share Point
  • work closely with other departments to ensure consistency and alignment of documentation practices
  • assist in the development and implementation of document control policies and procedures
  • Training Scheduling
  • Schedule training in accordance with training needs analysis, refresher training required and operational requirements
  • Coordinate with operations to confirm training scheduled
  • Serve as a point of contact for training-related queries and concerns from employees and management
  • Procurement
  • Logistics
  • Manage the movement of people to and from the training center and the mine
  • Collect required equipment and material for required training
  • If required to operate a company vehicle during the course of employment, must meet the requirements to be an eligible user of company vehicles. Must possess a current State Driver’s License.
  • Responsible to keep work areas safe and free of hazards. Performs Field Level Risk Assessments.
  • Must comprehend written and verbal instructions as required to perform duties safely and efficiently.
  • Comply with daily, weekly and monthly safety directives, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality with respect to Redpath and client information.
  • Complies with and ensure compliance with Redpath’s Policies and Procedures as detailed in the appropriate manuals, handbooks, directives.
  • Able to work in excess of 40 hours a week, overtime, day and nights, weekends, holidays and shift rotations.
  • Compliance with Redpath Core Competencies is an essential duty and responsibility.

Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma (Additional qualifications encouraged)
  • Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems; prior training/educational experience desirable
  • Knowledge: Document management systems, mine regulations, underground environment; ability to demonstrate proper use of tools and equipment
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work independently and in a team with minimal supervision; strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Physical ability to work in an office setting for extended periods; occasional visits to underground sites may be required
  • Pass background clearance, drug screening, and physical assessment; current State Driver’s License for company vehicle usage if applicable
