Job Description & How to Apply Below
We’re hiring a Revit Technician with moderate experience to support our residential design team by modeling, coordinating, and producing high-quality construction documents. This role is ideal for someone who can work confidently in Revit, handle typical revisions without hand-holding, and wants to keep leveling up in residential design.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain Revit models for residential projects (plans, elevations, sections, details).
- Produce permit- and builder-ready drawing sets: sheets, annotations, dimensions, notes, and details.
- Manage revisions/redlines efficiently and accurately.
- Coordinate model elements for consistency across views (levels, grids, scope boxes, view templates).
- Work with families and standards (doors/windows, tags, title blocks) and follow office best practices.
- Coordinate background information (surveys, site plans, structural) as required.
- Identify model/drawing issues early (conflicts, missing info, mismatched dimensions) and flag them to the team.
- Maintain clean file organization, naming conventions, and version control.
- Moderate Revit experience (you can independently model and produce sheets for residential work, step to finish).
- Solid understanding of construction documents and drafting conventions.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in clean, consistent drawings.
- Comfortable receiving feedback and turning revisions quickly.
- Reliable communicator with strong time management and follow-through.
- 4+ years in Revit-focused drafting/modeling (residential strongly preferred).
- Experience producing permit sets and working with builder revisions.
- Familiarity with typical residential construction systems (foundations, framing, roofs).
- Experience with Revit families (light editing/creation), work sharing, and linked files.
- Basic code awareness or ability to follow local standards (as trained).
Just as important as technical ability: we care a lot about company culture. We’re building a fun, high-performing team and want someone who communicates well, has a great attitude, and fits in with how we work. Opportunity for growth as your skills and ownership expand.
