The Walk to Read Aide supports elementary students in developing foundational literacy skills. Working under the guidance of classroom teachers and reading specialists, the aide delivers small-group and one-on-one reading interventions, tracks student progress, and helps foster a positive, supportive reading environment. 17 hours per week.
Job Description
Effective July 1, 2026
Lane 1 Step 1 ($17.88/Hour) Not Highly Qualified
Lane2 Step 1 ($18.88/Hour) Associate's degree or 48 semester hours from an accredited college/university; or
Lane3 Step 1 ($19.94/Hour) Current/Former Licensed Teacher
