12‑Month Contract
Rate: $23.37/hr without benefits
OverviewThe US Tax Operations team handles all reporting obligations for the firm’s Wealth Management and Institutional clients and is responsible for ensuring compliance with IRS regulations. The Gain & Loss department maintains cost‑basis records and provides gain/loss reporting for assets held in wealth‑management customer accounts. The team works closely with cross‑organizational operations teams to handle related queries, reconcile discrepancies between processing systems, and support requirements and testing of strategic platform initiatives.
A major focus of the department is automation, using Alteryx, UI Path, and EUC tools to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
- Maintain cost‑basis records and process gain/loss reporting for wealth‑management accounts.
- Reconcile discrepancies between processing systems and ensure the accuracy of regulatory reporting (e.g., cost basis and withholding).
- Handle related queries and collaborate with cross‑organizational operations teams.
- Support requirements and testing of strategic platform initiatives.
- Work independently and within a team environment to meet tight operational and annual deadlines.
- Continuously seek automation opportunities using Alteryx, UI Path, and EUC tools.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Excellent time‑management, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to concurrently manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively to meet enforced operational and annual deadlines.

- Bachelor’s Degree in a business field and/or experience in the financial industry.
- Understanding of general accounting principles as they apply to the industry.
- Knowledge of general process controls, database, spreadsheet applications, and data modeling, including Microsoft Excel and Access.
- Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
Preferred:
Experience with IVR and/or Alteryx, UI Path knowledge, and exposure to automation platforms.
