Merit Medical seeks a Senior IT Internal Auditor to execute complex IT and integrated audits, evaluating internal controls, risk management, and governance processes across global operations. The role requires technical expertise in cybersecurity, privacy, and emerging technologies, with collaboration across multiple regions.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with senior leadership to evaluate and enhance IT control structures and procedures
- Support development and execution of annual risk-based audit plans
- Plan, perform, and oversee IT audits to ensure compliance with policies and standards
- Oversee remediation of IT and system audit issues and track resolution
- Represent IT Internal Audit function in cross-functional initiatives and strategic projects
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, cybersecurity, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum eight years of auditing, accounting, or systems-related work experience
- Enterprise-level expertise in IT audit, risk management, and governance
- Advanced proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, GRC applications, and audit software
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- CIA, CISA, CISSP, or equivalent relevant certification preferred
- Experience in global manufacturing environment highly desirable
