South Jordan, UT. Job Type: Full-Time. Compensation: $20 - $24 per hour (USD).

The Phoenix Recovery Center is seeking a full‑time chef to join our residential inpatient team. This role is vital in supporting our mission by providing healthy, nourishing meals that contribute to our residents’ overall well‑being. Our ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and passionate about creating a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen environment.

• Plan, prep, cook, and serve nutritious meals for our residential clients.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and health‑department‑compliant kitchen at all times.
• Shop for food and supplies while working within an established budget.
• Ensure dish‑ware, equipment, and food‑prep areas remain orderly and hygienic.
• Arrive on time and participate in all required meetings, trainings, and activities.
• Understand and uphold PRC policies and maintain appropriate boundaries with residents and staff.

• Experience preparing and cooking meals for groups.
• Valid Food Handler’s Permit (or ability to obtain one upon hire).
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Ability to pass a DHHS background screening through the State of Utah.
• Strong time management, organization, and communication skills.
