SUMMARY OF DUTIES

This position patrols and monitors premises and personnel to assure security and deter damage to or loss of Company and/or employee property. Trains Guards on security systems and responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED

Orients and trains Guards on security systems and responsibilities.

Controls entry of authorized personnel and visitors on Company premises.

Maintains visitor logs.

Conducts patrols of grounds to ensure security.

Ensures the security of company personnel and property.

Ensures timely corrective action in response to reported security incidents.

Enter, update and print badges for card access system.

Performs other related duties and tasks as required.

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Education equivalent to a High School Diploma with two years of related experience.
• Must have current State of Utah Security License/background check.
• Must have current First Aid certification.
• Demonstrated knowledge of covert surveillance, and building card access and physical camera systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of fire and emergency procedures.
• Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and various shifts.
• Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database, and other applicable software programs.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

COMMENTS Infectious Control Risk Category II

The risk category explains whether or not employees are likely to come into contact with blood or body fluids while performing their jobs. Risk category II states employment and procedures that may require exposure.
