Cricut is seeking an experienced and versatile Software QA Engineer responsible for testing and qualifying Web, Mobile, Native, API, and Hardware for product releases. You will test new hardware products & applications, communicate with development teams, and represent QA concerns in cross-functional meetings, providing valuable end-user feedback to improve the customer experience.

This role requires a deep understanding of the software development life cycle, experience with various testing techniques, and strong organizational skills.

The successful candidate should develop and execute organized test plans to release high-quality products on schedule.

• 
  Minimum of 10 years of post-grad software testing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• MUST be living in or willing to immediately relocate to Salt Lake City, Utah

Required (Baseline) Criteria:

• Testing user stories, APIs, and regression testing.
• Hands-on experience with web and mobile application testing.
• Expertise in creating test plans and writing test cases.
• Experience executing and analyzing automated test suites using Selenium or similar tools.
• Testing, analyzing, and troubleshooting communication between front-end applications and APIs/Web Services.
• Experience testing web-based software.
• Experience testing iOS and Android mobile applications (a plus).
• In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices.

Preferred / Ideal Criteria:

• Experience managing QA teams or leading others is a plus.
• Experience testing software interacting with hardware is beneficial.
• Must be highly hands-on.
• Skills in testing tools, API debugging, communication, troubleshooting.
• Experience testing user stories, features, API, regression testing.
• Expertise in writing/executing test cases and plans.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Good to have skills:

• Experience testing software interacting with hardware.
• Experience testing Consumer Electronics Products.
